Jim is largely credited with developing and leading Sprint's Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) business within Sprint which grew from nothing to over $700 million in revenues over five years. Areas covered include: a) idea cultivation and first exposure, b) idea development, c) selling skills and d) early phase management. This topic is perfect for those who are working for large and small companies alike.
Bio
Jim Patterson is currently CEO and co-founder of Mobile Symmetry, LLC. This start-up specializes in products that enhance the value of wireline and wireless carrier networks through carrier-led applications and services. Before starting Mobile Symmetry, Jim led various parts of Sprint for more than fifteen years, most recently starting up a business that served more than five million cable phone subscribers and generated more than $600 million in revenue in 2008, He has a degree in Economics from Davidson College, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business (University of Virginia). |
