Big Benefits for Small Business

In this workshop, Jennifer Easterwood will demonstrate the unique online quoting system for Group or Individual Health that allows a potential client the ability to shop the marketplace for health and dental insurance. You can review quotes from such companies as Aetna, Assurant, Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Coventry and Humana instantly on a single comparison sheet. You can research premiums and coverage from all the major carriers, locate network doctors, review the plan brochures and apply online. She will also discuss the IRS 105 Plan that can help small businesses reduce their taxes up to $3,000 per year.

Craig Fisch will show small business owners what it takes to start or roll over their Retirement Plan. The two main plans that will be discussed are Waddell & Reed’s Exclusive(k) and the Simple IRA. He will explain which plan type is most appropriate for different sized businesses, including those with no additional employees. Both of these plans offer the business owner the opportunity to invest a larger part of their income than they could in an individual IRA, which could substantially affect how much money they accumulate for retirement.
